Need help with Nair after-effect

So I used Nair for my first time today. I did a little research on using it on your pubic area, and found that it just affects some people differently.

I tried a little spot at first, no pain, worked great.

Covered everything after that- pelvis, balls, bottom part of shaft, and all down my front and inner thighs. Still didn't feel any pain, and had lots of fun peeling off my hair in the shower, to my fiancee's disgust.

I get out the shower, and find that there's still a lot of stubble...
